During this period, you may experience intermittent service. However, we anticipate that the total unavailability of the service during the maintenance period will not exceed 1 hour. Website Toolbox maintains our 99.95% up time average, and we apologize for any inconvenience the maintenance period may cause you. New Message Board Features After the maintenance period, the new features listed below will become available for the message board system. After the upgrade is complete and the new features become available, we highly recommend logging into your Website Toolbox account to view and configure options that may have been added or modified. User Groups         Assign users to groups to easily manage their settings and permissions                 Assign user group permissions for each of your forums or calendars                 Set users to automatically enter user groups based on criteria                 Allow users to request to join a user group         Calendar System         Add events and set user group permissions on multiple calendars                 Receive reminders for upcoming events                 Assign calendar moderators                 Many new and advanced skins have been added View moderator logs containing a detailed history of all privileged actions taken by a moderator Specify different moderator permissions for each forum Add polls to threads Upload your picture to your profile Change a user's user name Set the default value for a default profile field, hide it, or make it required Perform bulk actions on threads returned in a search Set a forum to redirect to an external URL Specify an email address that system emails will be sent from Preview the text in a thread Ajax-based quick post deletion Users can specify their birthday in their profile Edit the total number of posts of a member An unlimited number of users can now subscribe to a thread The number of threads and replies permitted have been substantially increased More options for the members list search Prevent new registrations Search within a single thread Mark a single forum as read The Email Users feature now supports an unlimited number of recipients TheFED      March 13, 2009 at 01:31 AM #2 You might have experienced a disruption in accessing your message board on Saturday, March 7, 2009 morning during an upgrade of the system. The upgrade was planned to complete within a short time frame with very little downtime. However, due to technical difficulties, some message boards may have been unavailable for many hours beyond the anticipated maintenance window. Additionally, the difficulties during the upgrade process resulted in glitches which would have otherwise not been there. As a valued customer, your online experience is important to us. We understand how important the availability and smooth operation of your message board is to you and your users, and it is equally as important to us. Over the last few days we have managed to resolve almost all glitches and have taken steps to ensure that future upgrades go smoothly. If you submitted an inquiry to customer support, please note that due to a high volume of customer inquiries and feedback after the upgrade, it may take longer than usual to receive a reply from a representative. Our representatives are working hard to attend to your inquiries as soon as possible. Additionally, we have gathered all of your generous feedback and we will do our best to exceed all of your expectations. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. You may have noticed some changes to your message board design which were unavoidable when implementing the new skins system. The old system was only able to configure very few aspects of your design, while the new system has the ability to control virtually every aspect of your design, including colors, images, fonts, positioning, and more, all through CSS. If your existing design was modified, you can change it to your liking through the skins section of your Website Toolbox account. If you did not receive the upgrade notification email, please enable the option for email communication in your Account Settings and click here to view a copy of the upgrade notification sent.
