I have spoken with Salford University about the archive and they said that they did not house it there. However, they referred me to the Working Class Movement Library who said that they had some FED archive material. They have just had some lottery funding so they have been cataloguing their archive material using ADLIB.
It doesn't look as though they have enough space to house our archive but they said that we were welcome to look at their archive at any time. Their telephone number is     016... and the contact is Lynette.
They said that for an archive they only need one copy of each publication and they do not archive any foreign material. It might be possible to house our portion of the archive somewhere else but catalogue the stuff using ADLIB so that it could link in with their archive.
